In short

  • Right now, Nexa is a waitlist. We ask for your email and, if you want, whether you are looking for a job or looking to hire, your country, and the role you want or need to fill. Your visit also generates technical data, like your IP address and browser.
  • We use your email to tell you when your spot opens. We use the technical data to keep spam out of the form. We do not ask for your resume, passwords, or sensitive data.
  • We do not sell your email or give it to companies looking for talent. Some providers that help us run the site, like Google, process technical data.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or to be removed from the list, by writing to contact@nexa.jobs.
  • Before we collect new data when Nexa opens, we will publish an expanded policy.

1.Who is responsible for your data

Nexa is a Coderhouse product. In this policy, "we" means Coder Holding Corporation, a Delaware corporation with its registered address at c/o Harvard Business Services, Inc., 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, USA. We decide why and how your data is used (in some laws, this is called the "controller" or the "business").

This policy covers the Nexa site (nexa.jobs) and its waitlist. When the product opens, we will expand it (see When Nexa opens).

If you have any question about your data, write to us at contact@nexa.jobs.

2.What data we collect today

When you join the waitlist:

  • Your email (required). Without it, we cannot reach you.
  • Whether you are Talent or a Recruiter (Talent if you are looking for a job; Recruiter if you are hiring for your company) and the date you join.
  • Your country and the role you want or need to fill (optional).
  • Another person's email, if you use "Add someone else." Do this only if that person gave you permission.

Only your email is required. If you skip the rest, we still notify you; we just cannot use your country or role to decide when to reach out.

Your visit also generates technical data: your IP address, your device and browser type, and the data our providers use (see Cookies and similar technologies).

We do not ask for your resume, passwords, ID documents, or sensitive data (for example, health, ethnic origin, or religion). Please do not type them into free-text fields, like the role field, either.

3.If someone added you

Someone can add your email using "Add someone else." In that case, all we have is your email. We use it to tell you when Nexa opens and, if applicable, to let you know you are on the list. Nothing else.

If you do not want to be on the list, write to us at contact@nexa.jobs and we will delete your email.

4.How we use your data

  • To tell you when your spot opens. We do this with your consent, which you give by submitting the form after reading this notice, and which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To decide which countries and roles to reach first.
  • To protect the site. We detect spam, bots, and abuse on the form, for example with reCAPTCHA, to protect the service and the people who sign up.
  • To improve the site. We measure visits and how the form is used, without identifying you.

Today, we do not build profiles or make automated decisions about you with waitlist data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We only write to you to tell you when your spot opens and about matters related to this list, such as important changes to how we use your data or replies to your requests.

If we want to use your data for something different, we will tell you and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

5.Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not hand it to companies looking for talent. We also work with other third parties:

  • providers that help us run the site: infrastructure and hosting and email delivery, which process data on our behalf and follow our instructions;
  • Google, which provides reCAPTCHA (anti-spam) and may handle the technical data it receives for its own purposes, under its own policies;
  • PostHog, which measures visits and how the form is used on our behalf, and receives technical data such as your IP address and browser, but not your email;
  • companies in the Coderhouse group, such as Coderhouse S.R.L. (Argentina), which provide technology, support, and administrative services on our behalf.

We may also share data with authorities when a law or a valid order requires it.

6.International transfers

Some providers, like Google (reCAPTCHA), may process data outside your country, for example in the United States. Data may be processed in the United States, Argentina, and other countries where our group companies and providers operate. Where the law requires it, we will use the safeguards it provides, such as contract clauses or your consent.

7.How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until your spot opens and we notify you, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Maximum period: three years after your last interaction with us. "Your spot" is your access to Nexa once it opens. If we close the list before your spot opens, we delete your data or anonymize it (we remove your name and email so it can no longer be linked to you) within 90 days, and we let you know.

Exception: we may keep some data longer if a law requires it or if we need it to defend against a legal claim.

When you ask for deletion, we verify your identity and respond within 45 days, which we may extend by another 45 days by letting you know. Backup copies may remain for a limited time.

8.Your rights and how to use them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for access to your data;
  • correct or update it;
  • ask us to delete it or remove you from the list;
  • object to a use or withdraw your consent;
  • ask for a copy of your data in a portable format, where the law provides for it.

To use these rights, write to us at contact@nexa.jobs. If we enable it, you will also be able to unsubscribe from a link in every email we send you. We confirm your removal by email, at no cost. We answer verified requests within 45 days, or sooner if the law that applies to you sets a shorter period; we may extend that by another 45 days by letting you know.

If you feel we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country (see What the law says by country).

9.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a security incident affects you in a significant way, we will tell you when the law requires it or when there is a risk to you, and we will notify the authorities when appropriate.

10.Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses:

  • Google reCAPTCHA, to protect the form from spam and abuse. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
  • Fonts. We serve them from our own servers, so loading them sends nothing to Google.
  • PostHog, to measure visits and how the form is used. It keeps its state only while the page is open: it writes no cookies or anything else on your device, does not record your session, and does not identify you. The site does not use its own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site, like the form, may not work.

11.Minors

Nexa is intended for people aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If we learn that someone under that age has joined, we will delete their data. If you want to tell us about a case, write to contact@nexa.jobs. Today the form does not verify age.

12.When Nexa opens

This policy describes what we do today. When the product opens, we will collect more data, and we will expand this policy before we collect it. We will let you know and, if the law requires it, you will be able to accept it or not.

Depending on what you use, we expect to collect:

  • your account details (name, email, and photo, if you sign in with Google or LinkedIn and allow it);
  • your resume and professional profile (experience, education, skills, and job search preferences);
  • what you do on the platform: saved jobs, applications, and their status;
  • audio and transcripts, if you use voice features (before it opens, we will tell you whether audio or only the transcript is stored, for how long, and with which provider);
  • payment details, through a payment provider (before it opens, we will tell you which one);
  • if you are a company: your company's details and those of the team members who use Nexa (name, work email, and role), your searches, notes, and messages with candidates, and billing details.

We are designing Nexa so that:

  • you decide: Nexa prepares and you approve every submission, and Nexa does not apply for you;
  • companies see your profile without contact details, and we share how to reach you only if you say yes;
  • you can hide your profile from your current employer;
  • no company sees your interview practice, and it does not affect your resume or your match;
  • AI only gives you summaries and insights, and the decisions are always yours.

These are an intention, not a promise: we will confirm them in the expanded policy before we open.

13.What the law says by country

Here is a summary of what data protection laws provide about your rights and where to file a complaint.

  • Argentina. Law 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) is the oversight body.
  • Mexico. Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection by writing to contact@nexa.jobs.
  • Colombia. Law 1581 of 2012. You have the right to know, update, correct, and delete your data; to ask for proof of your authorization; to be told how we use your data; and to revoke your authorization. You can file a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
  • Chile. Law 19,628. Law 21,719, which modernizes the regime and creates the Personal Data Protection Agency, takes effect on the date set by law.
  • Uruguay. Law 18,331. You have the right of access, rectification, updating, inclusion, and deletion, and you can file a complaint with the Regulatory and Control Unit for Personal Data (URCDP). Your email is the only required field (see What data we collect today).
  • Other countries. If you join from another country, you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@nexa.jobs.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the change is important, for example a new use of your data or a different controller, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
